1. Street soccer courts

Cristiano Ronaldo. Lionel Messi. Ronaldinho.

These are some of the more famous footballers who sharpened their skills on the streets before dominating the game.

Unleash your inner Ronaldinho when you play friendly soccer matches with your buddies at the humble neighbourhood street soccer courts.

Found in almost every neighbourhood, enclosed street soccer courts make for a faster game — both for the feet and the mind as constant passes and one-twos making use of the concrete barriers ensure that the pace of the games never slows down. You'll definitely be in for a ball of a time!

2. Decathlon singapore lab soccer pitch

Decathlon Singapore Lab Soccer Pitch

Decathlon Singapore Lab has a football pitch, a basketball court and a multi-sport zone to encourage local users to meet and practise sports.

The pitch is suitable for a game of 5v5 or 4v4. With amenities like a shower area, and a huge selection of football apparels, boots, footballs and accessories available in the store, it is one of the more convenient locations to have a game of football.

And best of all, it’s completely FREE! You just have to be a Decathlon member to enjoy a football session with your friends at the pitch. Sign up to be a Decathlon member here!

Opening hours: 8am - 10pm

3.  Rooftop soccer pitches

Try something different at your next football session by having a kickabout at the roof of a building. Yes we now have football pitches located at the top of buildings where you can enjoy your soccer games with a spectacular view of the city!

One of the pitches is located at the rooftop of Amara Hotel at Tanjong Pagar. Located right at the heart of the financial district, its central location makes it very convenient for you and your football buddies.

Now you'll have no excuse to turn down a soccer game after work ;)

Another pitch that you might want to check out is at Skypark Arena. It’s located minutes away from King Albert Park MRT Station so it’s very convenient for those who don’t have a car. They use FIFA-recommended pitches too!

You might also be interested in our certified Ligue 1 FIFA Hyrbid Football which would make the experience of playing on this field top-notch.

4. Activesg free-to-play soccer fields

If you are looking to play a game of 11-a-side football but have no interest in paying for the pitch, do check out the ActiveSg website as they have a list of free football pitches.

Most of these football pitches are situated in primary or secondary schools all over the island so you will have no problem finding a pitch for your weekend session.

I love team sports which are intense and technical, and that's why I love floorball so much. I first picked up floorball when I was in poly and I have been hooked to the sports ever since.
