Fret not, as we've done the digging and put together a list of 10 venues (and prices for each) for you! From an exhibition-turned recreational indoor badminton hall, to free-for-play outdoor badminton courts all around our tiny little island.

1. Singapore badminton hall @ expo

Responding to the nationwide shortage of badminton courts, Expo has pivoted from being an exhibition hall to a recreational hall.

Now called Singapore Badminton Hall @ Expo, they've been converted into the biggest indoor badminton hall in Singapore with 20 badminton courts and 2 pickleball courts.

With new floor mats in place, be sure that you will be able to move around more easily and have a better game performance.

Court Rates:

Weekday (Non-peak) | 1pm - 6pm : $8 per hour
Weekday (Peak) | 6pm - 10pm : $15 per hour
Weekends | 8am - 10pm : $15 per hour

2. Smash arena @ d'arena joo koon

Here's a spot for those living in the West!

Smasharena promises the ultimate professional badminton experience.

With Gerflor Taraflex® badminton flooring of 9mm thickness, it ensures comfort during the game while preventing injuries.

Equipped with Badminton World Federation (BWF) Grade-1 certified badminton poles and nets, you'll certainly feel like a professional player playing here!

3. Teamsports arena @ suntec

Looking for a court somewhere near the CBD for those after-office games?

Look no further than Teamsports Arena @ Suntec Convention.

With 20 badminton courts occupying two exhibition halls, you can certainly secure a court and play a match with your colleagues.

Expect to have an enjoyable experience as the courts are equipped with 5mm competition mats on a professional sport flooring system which helps reduce injuries.

Weekday (Peak) | 6pm - 11pm : $30 per hour

4. Ocbc arena

For another spot that's near the CBD, you could also check out OCBC Arena!

What makes this location special is the incredible value it brings! You can enjoy playing badminton in an air-conditioned hall at almost half the price of other indoor courts.

5. Singapore badminton hall @ geylang

Just a 5-minute walk from Aljunied Mrt, Singapore Badminton Hall @ Geylang is easily accessible by public transport!

What's more, you don't have to worry about the post-game food fuel up! Explore the food and supper spots after your game as there are plenty of yummy options around.

With 14 Olympic-sized courts and seating for 400 spectators, this indoor court is certainly big enough to host competitions. Call 6744 4111 to book the courts at the SBH today!

6. Activesg sports halls

Prefer a court within the heartlands or near your place of residence? An option to consider are the ActiveSG Sports Halls!

There are plenty of ActiveSG Sports Halls scattered around the island.

Check out these sport centres or local school badminton courts for booking through ActiveSG.

7. OnePA community centres

Some neighbourhood community centres also have indoor badminton courts!

8. Hdb outdoor badminton courts

Last but not least, if outdoor badminton is your thing, you'll also be able to find outdoor badminton courts located at the void decks of most HDBs.

The best part? They are free for use and do not require any booking in advance. Fastest feet wins!
